Fame was born 12th of November 2002 at kennel Chaboo's in Gällivare/Malmberget, the North of Sweden. She is a hi-drive female, with herding and guardian instincts. She's got a great mentality and that's what really makes her special. She is also highly intelligent and thinks a lot.

Fame has a perfect off-button when nothing is happening. She never stresses, not even when
working. She is focused but still does her job with hi-drive. Fame is very fast and athletic, she works quiet with determination to perform the best she can.

Noises and different kinds of environments doesn't bother her at all. Her social skills can be open and friendly to reserved and not interested. It depends on the situation. She loves children no matter if they are strangers to her or not. Her guardian instincts show when she wants to warn or protect someone/something. If you however tell her to knock-it-off, she does.

Fame needs a consistent hand. She has temper and a lot of own ideas about things. She does everything to please you when it comes to training and she never quits working. She just
tries harder if something is not easy. This dog likes rewards like playing with balls, tugging, food and just your nice voice telling her ”good job”. She likes to cuddle, carry things around and also hide them. She does all kind of dog sports and is very talented. Fame likes seeking, tracking, agility, obedience and herding.

Disciplines Fame has been trained/compeeting in (since we're doing a little bit of everything, we're not getting too deep into any particular discipline):

Obedience: Fame really likes obedience. She can train for hours without getting tired or bored, but her handler isn't quite as enduring... Sometimes things tend to happen a bit too fast and intense, but when it works the results are awesome. She sometimes thinks competitions are a bit too boring, and she will then try to spice things up by playing clown or something similar to get attention. Overall, she's an excellent obedience dog even with limited time for teaching and training.

Agility: Fames most defining properties are her speed and focus on the agility course. She's relatively easily handled, very intense and works in complete silence as long as I don't mess things up. She generally has no problem with contact fields or knock downs. Our biggest problem is my lack of handling knowledge and training/competing interest.

Competes in jump ("1 pinne") and agility class 2
1 USA-Leg in agility.
Winner at the AKC Aussie Nationals 2006, fastest aussie
totally.

Tracking: Tracking is something Fame's always had a talent for. She is just as thorough in the track as when picking up the items. Everything happens in a good pace and we're both very satisfied with working in the forest.

307,5p in "appellklass" and starting once in 'lower class'. The result woulv have been 10/10 in the track had I not got lost after we'd found the last retrieving object.

Searching: Thinks the work itself is more interesting than the people she finds in the forest. Works with speed and focus. Grasped the concept of searching early on and has no problem with the roll or false sendings. Hopefully we'll dare to get out and compete in the future.

Rapport: Running fast is something she thinks fits perfectly! Because of this discipline uses her sense for - and will to keep an eye on - her family, she's got it laid out for her in the rapport track. She's unafraid and keeps working regardless of distractions. Fame puts work in front of everything and during resting time she lies quietly waiting for the nest send. We will probably not be competing in this discipline at the current time.

Herding:  Fame herds both sheep, ducks and cattle but it's the two first mentioned that we've been training most with. She has even proven to be a bit of a talent on ducks! We went to the States for 6 months during 200 to train and compete in herding. We started out as beginners, and now I feel we know the basics and are starting to understand what it's really all about. Herding is the most difficult discipline we've tried, but also the most rewarding. Fame is good at balancing, she has no weak side (compared to people, who are usually right- or lefthanded). She can push the animals following a straight line and she uses her body a lot, even though there is a hint of weak eye in her style. Because of Fame being easy to train and handle it's not difficult to get her to keep a good distance between her and the animals. She works silently and has a very nice approach to the animals she is herding. Our biggest problem is her ability to take all the responsibility for the work when she feels that I'm not able to handle the situation. She's miles ahead of me when it comes to understanding the principles of herding. Sometimes though, during those moments when everything's working perfectly, nothing can beat the feeling of accomplishment!

ASCA competitions:

Title: Stds Started trail dog sheep 3 leg AKC
Title: PT Pre-trail sheep 2 leg

Mentaly: Performed MH and approved 'korning' with 159p.

Showing: Fame is healthily built. Her back end and legs as well as the back itself are very good, as are the bite, her teeth, paws and legs. Her tail has a good shape and projection. Her front and front legs could have been a bit better. Her nose could have been a bit shorter and straighter. She has excellent moves and is always in a good show mood. She got some BIR puppy and HP wins. 2 Ck and 1 Cert at show and completed exterior description.
